Director Joan S. Clarke has a
background in anthropology, technical writing, and youth video production.
She has taught computer skills in Ghana and the US. In 2002, she co-founded
multi-media artist collective Shoes in the Street. Since 2001 she
has worked as International Volunteer Recruiter for Ghana-based development
group Bambenninye Development Services.
Assistant Amara Salia is a Ghanaian
community organizer and educator with a Ghana-based development organization,
and has worked for UNICEF and Raleigh International. He gained a technology
background and marketing degree in Accra, where he now lives.
Scholar David Donkor is a final
year Ph.D. candidate and an instructor in Performance Studies at Northwestern
University in Evanston, Illinois, and an affiliate of the University
of Ghana. He grew up in Accra but currently lives in the US, and has
taught and performed in both countries in theater, film, and radio.
He has extensively studied West African mythology.
Scholar Diana Coryat is Executive
Director/Co-Founder of Global Action Project (GAP-a New York based,
media arts organization that has been training youth in the US and
internationally to produce media on critical social issues since 1991,

TV producer, media educator, and documentary filmmaker (including
experience in Ghana).
Scholar Paul Avorkah, Assistant
Director of the Department of Community Development in Accra, gained
his degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana and specializes
in development issues.
