LaBone Senior Secondary School was founded in 1949 by:

LaBone is
one of the first class senior secondary schools in Ghana. It’s
a mixed school of boarders and day students with about 2,100 students
and 85 teaching and non–teaching staff. The students are 40%
boys and 60% girls. There is a computer lab which is open for all
students.
The school undertakes

- Home Economics
The school’s
motto is “primus semper aurora,” Latin for “always
first at dawn.” LaBone is known to be the neatest school in
Accra. It’s also known to be a business school because it
produce more business students for the final examination of the
West Africa Examination Council (WAEC).
