Ananse Project Chicago Participant Awarded Scholarship to Travel
to Ghana
One
of the students in the Chicago portion of the Ananse Project, Donatus
Fountain, has been awarded a full scholarship to be a part of the
Sankofa Youth Enrichment Program. That means he'll be leaving tomorrow
to spend two weeks in Ghana!!!
Donatus
joined the Ananse Project because of his strong interest in Africa.
The Sankofa program is an intensive youth cultural exchange in Ghana
run by African Connections.
Thanks so much to Dr. Hakeem of African Connections, the scholarship
funders, and to Hostelling International, who hosted the Ananse
Project in Chicago and recruited Donatus. Congratulations Donatus!
